“I remember being young in the 1960s... we had a great sense of the future, a great big hope. This is what is missing in the youth today. This being able to dream and to change the world.”
~ Bernardo Bertolucci

..........................Video From Dress Rehearsal
This was a video from a Dance Works dress rehearsal with an understudy in place.
Ever since I can remember, I have thought of myself as an artist. I started dancing as soon as I could walk and I would also put on vocal performances in my living room. My love of the musical theatre began at age 3 when I saw my first live performance, The Phantom of the Opera. I can still remember the chandelier, the masquerade, the rooftop scene, the Phantom singing Music of the Night in his lair, and oh those glorious high notes that Christine got to sing. I have been inspired by many shows, actors, and composers, but there are three women in particular who are the be all and end all for me. My idols are Kristin Chenoweth, Bernadette Peters, and Dolly Parton. There are many other performers that I admire but these three women have had the greatest influence on my performance style. My dream roles in the musical theater are Glinda in Wicked, Sally in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Nellie in South Pacific, Cunegonde in Candide, Christine in Phantom of the Opera, and Val in A Chorus Line.
